Reclaiming My Birthright
Behind The Veil Botanica & Apothecary was started in 2019 by Dakenya Nemesia Dixon 'Veil' who is a rootworker and conjure woman.
Hoodoo runs in the bloodline and ours is POTENT. My Great Grandma Viola used to do rootwork and conjure in Noxubee, Mississippi for family and strangers. Everything from protection work to invisibility work. Like ALL great Rootworkers of the past My Great Great Grandmother Arcola, Great Great Grandpa Jack, and my parents were/are Order of the Eastern Star & FreeMason.
Today, I am standing in my power and utilizing the gifts bestowed upon me as the "Great Great Granddaughter of Conjure."
